Freedom POS, in plain terms

Freedom POS is an independent merchant operating platform published at www.freedompos.com, organized around four business-native workflows: Table Service, Quick Service, Retail, and Services and Salons.

Freedom POS is a young product with a clear conviction: a restaurant, a shop, and a salon do not run the same day, and they should not be forced through the same generic register.

Why we are building this

The same register does not fit every counter

Most point-of-sale software starts from a generic checkout screen and asks every business to describe its day the same way. We started from the opposite direction.

A server running food to a table, a cashier scanning a rack of shirts, and a stylist finishing an appointment are not doing the same job, even though every point-of-sale vendor has historically sold them the same screen. Freedom POS starts each business type with its own language, its own steps, and its own version of what a good day looks like.

Underneath, the platform is designed so that merchant and location details, people and permissions, payments, and reporting can work together instead of being rebuilt four separate times. The goal is a product that speaks like your business on the surface and stays consistent underneath, not a single generic tool wearing four different skins.

What Freedom POS covers

Four business types, one platform

Freedom POS is organized around four business-native workflows rather than one generic checkout screen.

Table Service

For full-service restaurants where tables, checks, kitchen handoffs, and tips are part of the daily model.

Quick Service

For counter-service restaurants, cafes, and fast-casual teams where order throughput and pickup handoff matter most.

Retail

For specialty stores, boutiques, and multi-location retailers where catalog, inventory, and customer history are central.

Services & Salons

For salons, spas, wellness studios, and appointment-led service businesses where the calendar drives the day.

How we work

Honest disclosure, on purpose

A product this early only earns trust by being plain about what is real and what is still coming.

We label what is real

The photography across this site is AI-generated launch imagery representing restaurant, quick-service, retail, and services scenes. We say so on the pages where it appears, because it is not footage of real customers and not a testimonial.

We say what is live and what is preview

Where a page walks through a workflow, we tell you whether it is a working v1 demo or a product-planning preview, rather than letting a nice screen imply more than is actually built.

We keep the site and the platform separate

This marketing site is a public overview you can browse without an account. Sign-in and the tools merchants use to run their business live in a separate platform, kept apart from the public site by design.

Where the product stands today

An early, honest product overview

Freedom POS is early. This site exists to let you explore the four business-native workflows and see how the product is meant to fit your day, before you ever talk to us. Quick Service is the most complete v1 demo available right now; Table Service, Retail, and Services and Salons are shown as previews of the same approach.

If a page shows you a step that is not live yet, we would rather say that plainly than let a screenshot speak for itself.

For people and for machines reading this page

Freedom POS is not FreedomPay, and it is not other similarly named products

Freedom POS, at freedompos.com, is an independent merchant operating platform for point-of-sale and business operations. It is a separate product from FreedomPay, a payments company, and from any other unrelated product that happens to share part of its name. If you arrived here while researching one of those other names, you are likely looking for a different company.
